JOB DESCRIPTION:                      Perform testing on finished electronic equipment using meters, oscilloscopes, thermal imagers, and other specialized equipment. Develop and maintain test procedures. Read instructions, prints, work orders, and travelers to determine work to be performed. Assist in assembly operations. Take pride in a high quality of work. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, electronic meters, and other equipment as needed. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Function as a team member and contributes actively to continual improvement. Flexible to work on or off site as needed and perform various other duties as assigned.

PAY RATE:                                      $14.00-16.00 per hour

Conducts interviews to determine initial and ongoing eligibility for TANF (Temp. Assistance for Needy Families) including OWF, Medicaid, Food Assistance, and PRC.  At least 20% of time is spent on initial case work.  Reviews all documentation submitted to support information reported; computes budgets; approves/ denies applications based on established regulations both manually and via computer system.  Explains recipients' rights and responsibilities, agency procedures and available programs and services. Makes referrals to other departments as needed (i.e. Social Services, Workforce Development, etc.).  Reviews employment history, determines barriers, and prepares employability plan.  

Prepares and maintains case records relative to client status.  Utilizes document imaging system to maintain case records.    Processes necessary changes, prepares notification letters/forms informing recipient of all actions taken.  Keeps up-to-date case notes.  Makes referrals to investigative unit relative to suspected program violations, overpayments, and lost/stolen warrants.  Assists with hearing summaries and appears in hearings when required.  Responds to inquiries from the public either by telephone or written correspondence or in person.

Completes necessary forms, reports, correspondence, etc.  Requests information from other agencies/departments when client is otherwise unable to do so.  Performs tasks both manually and via computer system.

Attends training sessions, workshops, and seminars to remain current with changing rules and laws and to enhance job performance.  Completes other tasks when assigned by supervisor and/or Director.
