Entrepreneurship

If you are thinking of starting your own business, we are here to help!

In conjunction with our partner agencies, we also offer entrepreneurial training at no cost to the participant. Through assistance from the federal government, grant money is available to those that meet the established criteria. Stop by any JobSolutions office to talk to a counselor first-hand about your plans.

These funds may be used only for WIA participants who are eligible and enrolled under WIA adult or dislocated worker programs and who have demonstrated the need and suitability for training and technical advisory services for starting and operating a small business.

To help in determining if you are ready to start a business, please complete and bring the attached assessment to your next appointment with a WIA case manager. If you do not currently have a case manager, please call JOBsolutions at (419) 422-3679 ext. 1746 for Barb or ext. 1477 for Dan to make an appointment.
